CE Broker is the Florida's IT solution for tracking continuing education for healthcare professionals.
CE Broker has several kinds of accounts available for the busy professional and the various names can be confusing -- basic account, professional account, concierge account.
But wait . . what is this? "I'm a professional" you're thinking, "Does that mean I have to have a professional account?"
The short answer is "No".
The longer answer is if you need an electronic personal assistant to send you extra email reminders, view official transcripts, course details, etc, then there's the professional plan or concierge plan for a subscription price.
But if you're like me and you'd rather keep the $29 or $99 in your wallet, the free basic account is really all you need. You can log in at any time during the biennium and check that all your courses have been posted, including those posted for previous bienniums. And the i-phone app for tracking is free no matter which account. Get the latest version here.
CEDO reports all your hours to CE Broker within 2 weeks or sooner of when you take a class. Please keep in mind that sometimes software doesn't always behave nicely, and information can get lost. We saw this happen last December when numerous records mysteriously were lost ('drop-outs') and had to be re-entered.
This is no fault of the provider putting the hours in, it just happens sometimes and we can correct it.
We recommend checking your account at CE Broker 30 days after you've taken a class and reporting any discrepancies to us immediately via email or through the contact form on this website. Please remember to include your license number, the day & course numbers you attended, and we will gladly make the necessary corrections. That way your record should be complete when you're ready to renew and renewal will be a breeze.
